What is special about Seccorell

Seccorell is a painting technique that forms a bridge between the watercolor and pastel techniques and requires neither water nor fixative.

Practical for in between

Seccorell can also be used where watercolors and pastels are out of the question for technical reasons. Seccorell paints are harmless to health.

What is new and specific about this technology is that you can produce the color powder yourself, even in very small quantities, according to your wishes and requirements.

Seccorell four-step process: 1. abrasion of color sticks on the rubbing block; 2. brushing of color powder residues; 3. smudging with fingers; 4. polishing with cotton pad for high smudge resistance.

The Seccorell technique. This is how it works:

1. rub the paint sticks directly over the painting surface on the rubbing block; 2. brush out any paint powder residue with the brush; 3. smudge with your fingers and work in well; 4. for high smudge resistance, additionally polish with a cotton pad or similar: the delicate to intense color areas become smudge-proof like crayon pictures!
