Dandelion painting tutorial

Concept and execution: Andrea Reiß

The following colored sticks are needed: light yellow, dark yellow, light red, light blue and dark blue.

Step 1

We start with the dark yellow flower. For the stem and leaves, we mix dark yellow and light blue together and rub the color powder into the painting surface with our fingers.

Step 2

Then carefully wipe off the remaining paint with a cotton pad.

Step 3

Now start around the flower with light yellow powder, then add dark yellow and light red, working the colors in with circular movements.

Step 4

Mix dark yellow and dark blue together below the plant.

Step 5

Finally, working from light to dark, apply the color powder to the paper using a cotton pad in circular motions.

And the bright dandelion picture is finished!
