Welcome to our colorful world! What began in 2007 as a family project by Claudia and Thomas Kinzler, we continue today as the family-run MeiArt GmbH in Reutlingen with the same enthusiasm.
Our goal was and still is to build a bridge between watercolor and pastel painting. A little more color for the world.

How Seccorell Got Its Name
Before Seccorell became what it is today, we experimented a lot. These early designs and names like Seccorello or CircoColore are part of our history today. They remind us of the beginnings at the kitchen table and the desire to find a name that perfectly captures the uniqueness of our Finger smudging technique: Dry means secco in Italian, and the rell builds the bridge to watercolor or pastel painting. This is how Seccorell was born – a fitting synonym for our dry painting technique, in our view.
From Basement Workshop to Manufactory
Handmade since 2007
Even though the production of individual components is now machine-assisted, much of what we do remains true craftsmanship. Each set is assembled and manually packed in Germany. For us, this combination of precise manufacturing and human care is the only way to convey the special tactile experience of our paints.
