The Seccorell felt roll-up pouch with 8 Finger smudge pastels is the ideal set for transport and for painting with the Finger smudging technique on the go. It is made from 100% wool felt from German production and lovingly handcrafted. Inside, all important Seccorell tools have their own fixed place. They are safely stored in individual compartments and well protected by the felt cover.

An integrated fold-over flap and the practical closing cord with a saliva-resistant lacquered wooden bead ensure a secure hold. This keeps everything neatly sorted and protected, even in a school bag, in a tote bag or while travelling.

For anyone who enjoys making things themselves, the pouch, including its compartments, can also be sewn with a little skill. This makes it a lovely project for handcraft lessons or for shared creative afternoons at home.

The Seccorell Finger smudging technique follows a structured process: rubbing, brushing, smudging and polishing. The color powder is rubbed from the color stick, transferred to the paper with the brush, smudged with the fingers and finally worked in with a cotton pad.
Are pictures made with Seccorell smudge-proof even without fixative?

Yes. By polishing the surface with a cotton pad at the end, the pigments are worked deeply into the paper fibers so that the pictures become smudge-proof. No additional fixative spray is required.
