From what age is the finger-wipe technique suitable?

The application can be used under supervision as early as kindergarten age. The technique is particularly recommended for school children from the first grade onwards, as the targeted color extraction on the rubbing block requires appropriate fine motor skills and concentration.
Are the colors skin-friendly and non-toxic?

The Seccorell finger-wipe colors are absolutely skin-friendly, harmless to health, and non-toxic. This makes them the ideal companion for children and for therapeutic applications.
Can the colors be washed out of clothes and off hands?

Should paint get on clothing, the pigments can be easily removed with a normal machine wash. Paint residue on your fingers can be simply removed with soap and water or moist cosmetic wipes.
How does the finger-wipe technique work?

The application of the Seccorell® finger-wipe technique follows a structured process:

  • Rubbing The paint stick is rubbed directly over the painting surface on the rubbing block.
  • Brushing The resulting pigment powder is completely transferred to the painting surface with the brush.
  • Smudging The color pigments are smudged on the paper with the fingers and worked intensively into the background.
  • Polishing To achieve high smudge resistance and a silky sheen, the painted surface is finally polished with a cotton pad.
Are the images smudge-proof even without fixative?

Yes. By polishing with a cotton pad at the end, the pigments are worked so intensively into the paper fibers that the images are smudge-proof. An additional fixative spray or other aids are not required.
