The cheerful box for the painting table

The Seccorell Rondo combines thoughtful functionality with special design: the round cardboard box is covered with sustainable, natural brown paper and features a motif by artist Andrea Reiß. The box is sturdy and durable, ideal for everyday use at the painting table, in school or at home.

Inside there is a removable cardboard insert, a second insert level on which the Grating Block, cleaning brush and eraser stick are stored. The color sticks are safely kept underneath. After removing the bottom insert, the box offers space for up to 24 colors, making it practical both for expanding your selection and for compact storage.

When working, the color powder is created on the Grating Block and then smudged onto the paper with the fingers. This creates soft gradients, clear areas of color or contours. The Finger smudging technique supports fine motor skills and color awareness and is valued especially in school, at home, in the studio and in therapeutic work, by children as well as adults.

From what age is the Finger smudging technique suitable?

The Seccorell Finger smudging technique follows a structured process: rubbing, brushing, smudging and polishing. The color powder is rubbed from the color stick, transferred to the paper with the brush, smudged with the fingers and finally worked in with a cotton pad.
Are pictures made with Seccorell smudge-proof even without fixative?

Yes. By polishing the surface with a cotton pad at the end, the pigments are worked deeply into the paper fibers so that the pictures become smudge-proof. No additional fixative spray is required.
